Why Do I Organize?

Updated: Oct 3, 2018

What started as a hobby has blossomed into a full blown passion. I have always loved puzzles, problem solving, and working with my hands. The thought of organizing spaces was a complete “AHA” moment. It is quite precisely a practical interpretation of my favorite things.

Depending on where you are in your journey, organizing can seem like an overwhelming or thrilling prospect. You may not even know where to start your journey, and that’s completely normal.

I personally find myself looking around the house for projects to tackle. My lists are daunting. The pressures of work, childcare, and the daily tasks of running a household almost always trump personal projects. Which in turn can make the problem areas grow, and Grow, and GROW.

Carving out tiny chunks of time to sit with an area are almost therapeutic to me. A drawer here, a cabinet there, can do wonders to curb my anxiety everywhere.

Do you need my helping tackling some items on your list? Or, would you like to join my fledgling community of excited do it yourselfers? Each week I’ll be posting an assortment of tips and tricks, challenges, inspirations, all with the support of an excited community of people just like you!
