Sustainable Saturday!

Lawn Bags for the Win!

Starting something new with #SustainableSaturday 🤗🤗🤗 Each Saturday I’ll be sharing tips and tricks on my Instagram and Facebook page to lead a more sustainable AND organized life. 😊 Have you ever had a big decluttering session, or watched a reality show fill plastic garbage bag after garbage bag? I have and it makes me cringe every time. There’s got to be a better way. ✨Enter Paper Lawn & Garden bags✨

They’re big and sturdy (unless you’re dealing with liquids😉) and are easy to throw donations inside of and transport. You can easily write the contents and intended destination right on the bag. Can’t do that with black plastic bags! Best of all you’re reducing the amount of plastic heading towards a landfill. The paper bags can be reused, recycled, composted, or trashed. However, even if they’re trashed they will still decompose faster than plastic without leaching harmful toxins. Sounds like a win win to me 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Who’s ready to reduce some plastic garbage bag use?!?
